Hi! Welcome to my page!  My name is Jodi Kern.  I graduated from National-Louis University with a Master of Arts in Teaching.  I also received my ESL endorsement from Dominican University. This is my 20th year teaching at Lincoln. I have taught 2nd grade for 18 years and third grade last year when I looped with my class.   I love to see my students grow from the beginning of the year to the end of the year.  Second grade is a fun year because they grow so much academically and become even more independent.   The students are excited to learn and I love to encourage them to do their best!  One of the most rewarding parts of the job is when my former students stop by to say hi to me and share a fun memory with me.

I am the proud aunt of two nieces and three nephews.  I enjoy spending time with them, watching the Chicago Cubs, and traveling.
